A Misophonia Research & Advocacy Update from Duke
An interview with Dr. Zach Rosenthal and Grace Heppes
Hello and happy new year! As you may know, I like to check in with the researchers at the Duke Center for Misophonia and Emotion Regulation (CMER) periodically. At the end of 2024 I interviewed Dr. Rosenthal, Program Director, for my Psychology Today blog (Noises Off) who told me about the important studies of the past year, and plans for future work.
There are some really exciting studies on the horizon and I am sure you will want to know about them. In addition, I had the pleasure of speaking to Grace Heppes, Outreach & Education Coordinator for the program. Grace is providing essential support and advocacy for misophonia and misophonia awareness.

I hope this read will give you hope for good things to come for misophonia this year!
